The Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS® (BCAAR) believes in supporting Cal- houn County non- profit organizations to make our com- munity a better
place to live. REALTORS®, appraisers and affiliate members work to build relationships with community lead- ers and with local, state and federal government officials to enhance our community’s quality of life for its residents.
The Association’s Public Relations/ Special Events Committee strives to pro- vide the public with information about the real estate market and its involve- ment with community organizations. The Public Relations Committee estab- lished a grant request program in 2005 that serves Calhoun County residents in

2017 BCAAR Grant Recipients
the areas of housing, families, children, and community enhancements. The Battle Creek Area Association of RE- ALTORS® has given over $93,000 back to the community through its grant pro- gram since its inception.
On Thursday, May 18 at the Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS® held its General Membership Meeting and luncheon at Riverside Golf Club &
Banquet Center. During the meeting, Anna Jones, Chair of the Public Relations Committee introduced this year’s Grant Recipients. The organizations each re- ceived a check and spoke about the pro- grams that would help our community.
