Aging Well educational programs are free and open to the public. They are held at Kool Family Community Center. A light luncheon is provided at 11:30am followed by the presentation at noon.

Join the team of chefs from Sodexo of Bronson Battle Creek in another demonstration of easy to prepare delicious foods you can make at home. They will share their recipes and cooking tips along with samples of the food prepared.
Dr. Arnan, board certified neurologist, vascular neurologist and neurovascular ultrasound specialist will explain the importance of knowing how to recognize the symptoms of stroke, increase your chances of surviving a stroke and reduce your risk.
Dr. Dan Castro, board certified otolaryngologist, will offer an interactive discussion about how hearing loss occurs and helpful options for improving your hearing. He will discuss solutions for damage to the inner ear, buildup of earwax, infections, and ruptured eardrum.

This free presentation will provide you with answers to your questions about appointing a healthcare advocate in the event that you are unable to speak for yourself in making healthcare decisions. Participants will receive a free copy of the Michigan approved form for Designation of Patient Advocate. Light refreshments will be served. The workshop is free but reservations are needed.

Senior Fitness and Fun at Convenient Locations in Calhoun County
Senior Fitness and Fun is a FREE weekly, one-hour health and fitness program funded by the Calhoun County Senior Millage for adults 60 years of age and older. Chair exercises focus
on stretching, flexibility, balance and building strength. Our nurse will be available to answer your health questions, provide blood pressure, blood sugar and pulse/ox screenings, and make referrals to community resources.
