Education programming is avail- able, or under development, for
all ages from pre-school to mature adults, including a multigenerational focus whenever possible. One such program is the Elder Education pro- gram coordinated by Senior Health Partner in partnership with Michigan State University. Additional com- munity education is available in partnership with Dementia Friendly Programs across the county ranging from one hour to an eight-hour certi- fication program.
Ongoing activities for Miles for Memories include the Vineyard of Memories small muscle movement and art programs. Activities are scheduled for Battle Creek, Albion, and Marshall in 2020.

Miles for Memories is creating solutions for those impacted by dementia in Calhoun County through movement, programming and research.
Anyone coming out that day is invited to bring a photo of a friend or loved one impacted by dementia. We will be posting on the Memory Wall that will travel to different events in 2020.

Soon to be released will be Melodious Memories, a music lis- tening program. It is a powerful tool that can enrich the lives of people living with dementia and their care partners. Come to the Kool Family Center on Tuesday, May 26, starting at 6pm to learn how this program can benefit your family. Please RSVP at (269) 979-1412 ext. 305.
Collaborating with other orga- nizations is one way that Miles for Memories is able to make such a positive impact including Miles our great inflatable brain exhibit. It will travel across the county and even make a few appearances in Lansing this year.
WBCK has been a champion of sharing information with the com- munity as part of the weekly Miles for Memories Moment aired at 8:54am every Monday.

Miles for Memories is a volunteer organization with a vision to cre-
ate solutions for those impacted by dementia in Calhoun County through movement, programming, and research. It is a community project fund at the Battle Creek Community Foundation made possible through the generosity of the community. Join us on Saturday September 19 for the 8th Annual Miles for Memories Community Stroll Celebration. This will be our com- munity celebration and signature event in downtown Battle Creek. Come out and walk, run, or stroll down the avenue and be a part of our event this year.
