To me, raising any child is a blessing that God has given you. To hold a child in your arms every day, praying over his present and his future, is a tremen- dous responsibility, and a God given privilege. Sharing the things of God with a child when he is very young, and as he grows, instills those values and strengths that can only come from the Lord.
But Jesus was not dead forever when the Easter morning came,
One of the most special times with your children or your grand children is an opportunity to share the Easter story. Of course, Deuteronomy 6 says to share the Lord with them at every opportuni- ty, but we know that Easter holds spe- cial blessings.
We pass to Christ in heaven, Where we live forevermore.
A few years ago, I came across a beautiful poem I shared with my grand children at Easter. I asked my five-year- old to read it aloud at our family Easter dinner. As he read it in his sweet little voice, I couldn’t help but have happy

The Real Meaning of Easter
Author Unknown
My family sweetly told me about the Easter day,
How when Jesus died to save us and the stone was rolled away
He arose and left the cave you see, And we pray in his holy name.
There is more to this great story that my family told to me,
Because my savior has the power over sin and death to set us free.
If we believe his precious promise the grave is like an open door,
This is the real meaning of Easter...
