Welcome to summer. In this issue we focus on safety and prevention along with the joy and hope found in summertime. When you enjoy nature by visiting a park, the woods, or the beach you can increase energy levels. It only takes about 20 min- utes of being outside in nature, inhaling fresh air every day, to boost vitality, stamina, and immunity significantly making sum- mertime the best time to focus on your health. Enjoy the expanding calendar of activities in south central Michigan starting on page 19 to do just that. Also be sure to look to the skies as area balloonists start practicing for the upcoming Field of Flight.
