TAKE YOUR HEALTH BACK
I just recently had a patient that came into the office. Over the last several years, he has gained a lot of weight, has been diagnosed with diabe- tes, high blood pressure, high choles- terol, etc., and although his labs were within normal limits, how do you think his health was? His introduction to retirement and Medicare age has been a very scary one. It turns out that his pre- scription coverage ran out in June so he has been paying for more drugs with money that he doesn’t have on diseases that are not getting better as a result of all of these additional expenses. And I know as you read this, you or someone you know is in the exact, same boat.
When you reach Medicare age
you have new insurance benefits. Unfortunately, there is not a healthcare system or insurance plan designed to handle people with layers and layers of maladies like the example I mentioned above. It’s time to take your Health Back!
My job as a health-care practitioner is to give people a road map to not only get out of pain and discomfort but to also to help get your health back on track, which takes a deeper understand- ing. The understanding is that you have an amazing human body that you are to steward for as long as you are alive.
And, yes, more times than not, you are not beyond help if you have numerous diagnoses, multiple sur- geries, etc... Your system is almost always able to be optimized.
Very few of us will ever reach our potential but the process of health is exactly that... a process. And with the understanding that you possess a brain that only weighs three pounds and it controls 75 trillion cells via 90,000
miles worth of nerves, I hope you will start to understand that there is always more to understand. I can help you with that road map, and together we can help your Golden Years be Golden.
As I continue to get closer to AARP, I am consistently being consistent with regimens and routines that will give
me options for my future. Whether it’s for your physical, financial, spiritual,
or emotional health, all of these need
to be pursued in order for you to have the freedoms and liberties to make your own choices as you continue to grow in your years. And when it comes to your health, the rewards for being a steward of it will keep you out of that disease management system, which will keep you from spending valuable time, money, and resources that you can
use toward the things you’ve always dreamed of.
Costs for disease management are creeping up at an astronomical speed and are very scary but health manage- ment is a plan and a hope for you and yours that can make for a very happy and peaceful future. I don’t number people’s days but what I do know is that if you begin today, making healthy choices based on a strategy and a plan, you will become healthier, which will help you reduce or even eliminate med- ications, prevent potential surgeries, and keep your money yours by reduc- ing, delaying, or eliminating the need to be in long term care. This will give you quality time to have options to do what you desire to do and make your Medicare-age years exciting instead of stressful and debilitating.
If you have any questions about how to begin your plan to HEALTH, don’t hesitate to call at (269) 964-3300.
The team at Radiant Healthcare looks forward to assisting you in your health- care needs.
Trusted. Dependable. Caring. Since 1963.
