Barry County jumpstarts our season July 18-23. Join us on Senior Day August 19. Calhoun County wraps up our local fair season August 13-20. We invite you to join Senior Times at Senior Day at the Calhoun County Fair Wednesday, August 17. You must register for your yummy fair food voucher by calling (269) 979-1479. See page 6 for more details. For even more July activities turn to page 19.
We invite you to be on the lookout for your new voter information card coming to you in the mail. It provides valuable information regarding your new district number and new polling location. This makes it easier for you to identifywhich individuals you may choose from to represent you. All registered voters are eligible to vote by mail. Turn to page 5 for more details. Two millage renewals are on the Calhoun County ballot August 2: Calhoun County Medical Care Facility and Calhoun County Veterans Affairs; both serving the needs of Calhoun County seniors. A new millage for 9-1-1 will be on the August 2 ballot as well. Learn more on pages 10-11. No matter what county you live in be sure you are registered to vote.
